Desmodur\u00ae\u00a0ultra N 3390 BA can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic\u00a0hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate,acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene,xylene, solvent naphtha\u00ae\u00a0100 and mixtures thereof. Generally speaking,it has good compatibility with the solvents listed. However, the solutions<\/h3>\nDesmodur\u00aeultra N 3390 BA should not be thinned to below a solids content of\u00a040 %. Prolonged storage of a solution with a lower binder content may result\u00a0in turbidity and sedimentation.<\/h3>\nCompatibility<\/b><\/strong>\uff1a<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\nDesmodur\u00ae\u00a0ultra N 3390 BA is not compatible with branched polyester polyols\u00a0such as Desmophen\u00ae\u00a0651 or polyether polyols such as Desmophen\u00ae\u00a01380 BT.<\/h3>\nProperties \/ Applications\uff1a<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\nThe main applications for systems based on Desmodur\u00ae\u00a0ultra \u00a0N \u00a03390 \u00a0BA\u00a0are air- andforce-drying coatings for automotive OEM, automotive refinishing,transportation, industrial finishing and plastics.<\/h3>\nStorage\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>:<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n\u2013 Recommended storage temperature: 0 \u2013 30 \u00b0C.<\/h3>\nGeneral information: The product is sensitive to moisture. Storage at higher\u00a0temperatures will result in increase of color and viscosity.<\/h3>\nStorage time\uff1a<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\nThe lapse of the nine months period does not necessarily mean that the\u00a0product no longer meets specifications or the set values. However, prior to\u00a0using said product, Covestrorecommends to test such a product if it still\u00a0meets the specifications or the set values. These products may therefore\u00a0be used only in industrial or trade applications.
